NEW YORK (Reuters) – The U.S. economy is expanding at a 1.2% annualized rate in the second quarter as a private report showed growth in domestic manufacturing activity cooled to its slowest pace in nine months in April, the Atlanta Federal Reserve’s GDPNow forecast model showed on Wednesday.

This was a tad slower than the 1.3% pace estimated by Atlanta Fed’s GDP program on Monday.
