Red Hat, IBM Rise in After-Hours Trading By

TedsWoodworking Plans and Projects – These stocks were active postmarket.

Red Hat (NYSE:) rose 0.13% postmarket after reporting that easily topped estimates, with revenue about in line with expectations.

But stock action was muted since the company is being acquired by IBM (NYSE:) for $190 per share. Shares of IBM rose 0.5% after hours.

AMC Entertainment Holdings (NYSE:) edged up 0.1% in after-hours trading. The company said it now has 19 million household members of its loyalty program AMC Stubs.

And Magellan Midstream Partners (NYSE:) gained 0.1% in after-hours trading. It said after the bell that it does not expect its Permian Gulf Coast pipeline project to proceed and its spending plans have been reduced.
